GRUPUL STATUAR „LEU ŞI MISTREŢ”
În 1896 au fost instalate în Parcul Crâng grupurile statuare „Leu şi mistreţ”, „Leu şi căprioară” şi „Călăreţ atacat de leu”, opere ale artistului plastic Clovis Edmond Masson, turnate în fontă la firma Kelhauer din Bucureşti. Clovis Edmond Masson s-a născut la Paris în 7 martie 1838 şi a murit în 1913. A fost elevul sculptorului francez Antoine –Louis Barye. S-a specializat în a reprezenta animale sălbatice, în special feline uriaşe, fiind considerat cel mai mare sculptor animalier din lume.

THE „LION AND WILD BOAR” STATUARY GROUP
In 1896, the statuary groups „Lion and Wild Boar”, „Lion and Deer” and „Horseman attacked by a Lion” were installed in Crâng Park, works by artist Clovis Edmond Masson, poured in cast iron at Kelhauer firm of Bucharest. Clovis Edmond Masson was born in Paris on 7th March 1838 and died in 1913. He was a pupil of the French sculptor Antoine-Louis Barye. He specialised in depicting wild animals, especially giant cats, and he is considered the world’s greatest animal sculptor.

GROUPE STATUAIRE „LION ET SANGLIER”
En 1896, les groupes statuaires „Lion et sanglier”, „Lion et cerf” et „Cavalier attaqué par un lion” ont été installés dans le parc de Crâng. Il s’agit d’œuvres de l’artiste Clovis Edmond Masson, coulées en fonte à l’entreprise Kelhauer de Bucarest. Clovis Edmond Masson est né à Paris le 7 mars 1838 et est décédé en 1913. Il a été l’élève du sculpteur français Antoine-Louis Barye. Il s’est spécialisé dans la représentation d’animaux sauvages, notamment de chats géants, et est considéré comme le plus grand sculpteur animalier du monde.
