Ansamblul Strada Alexandru Marghiloman

ANSAMBLUL STRADA ALEXANDRU MARGHILOMAN Strada Alexandru Marghiloman a fost și a rămas una dintre arterele importante ale orașului Buzău, legând centrul acestuia de Şoseaua Brăilei. Inițial s-a numit strada Oborului, apoi Brăilei, ulterior Dobrogei (după 1881), iar din 1911 Alexandru Marghiloman, în onoarea marelui om politic buzoian. După 1948 a fost strada Constantin Dobrogeanu-Gherea, revenind la numele Alexandru Marghiloman după 1990. Pe întreaga sa lungime, initial de la Aleea Episcopiei, astăzi de la strada Cuza Vodă (Piaţa Teatrului) până în Bariera Brăilei, găsim numeroase obiective de interes istoric şi arhitectural pentru oraşul Buzău, unele dintre ele incluse pe lista monumentelor istorice: fosta Hală de carne şi peşte (Bazarul Obor), inaugurată la 12 noiembrie 1898, Hanul Ioniță Ploieșteanu, în care s-a născut, la 1883, marele actor și dramaturg George Ciprian, Hanul Vasile Cățoiu, fosta Școală Primară a Comunității Israelite, inaugurată la 24 august 1903, Sinagoga Comunității Israelite, Casa Seceleanu (fiica lui Nicolae Seceleanu i-a comandat, lui Constantin Brâncuşi, lucrările „Rugăciune” şi „Bustul avocatului Petre Stănescu”, realizate de acesta şi expuse la Buzău în anul 1914, fiind aflate astăzi în Cimitirul Dumbrava din Buzău pe aleea ce poartă numele sculptorului), ansamblul arhitectural Alexandru Marghiloman. Ansamblul „Strada Alexandru Marghiloman”, între străzile Cuza Vodă şi Tăbăcari, este inclus în Lista Monumentelor Istorice (BZ-II-a-B-02336).

“ALEXANDRU MARGHILOMAN STREET” ENSEMBLE Alexandru Marghiloman Street was and remains one of the important arteries of the city of Buzău, connecting its center with Brăilei Road. Initially, the street was called Oborului, then Brăilei, later Dobrogei (after 1881), and from 1911, Alexandru Marghiloman, in honor of the great politician from Buzău. After 1948 it was Constantin Dobrogeanu-Gherea Street, returning to the name Alexandru Marghiloman after 1990. Along its entire length, initially from Aleea Episcopiei Street, today from Cuza Vodă Street (The Theatre Square) to the Brăila Barrier, we find numerous objects of historical and architectural interest for the city of Buzău, some of them included in the list of historical monuments, such as: the former Hall of meat and fish (or Obor Bazaar), inaugurated on the 12th of November 1898, the Ioniță Ploieșteanu Inn, where the great actor and playwright George Ciprian was born in 1883, the Vasile Cățoiu Inn, the former Primary School of the Israeli Community, inaugurated on the 24th of August 1903, the Synagogue of the Israelite Community, the Alexandru Marghiloman architectural complex and the Seceleanu House (Nicolae Seceleanu's daughter commissioned from Constantin Brâncuşi the works "Prayer" and "Bust of lawyer Petre Stănescu", made by him and exhibited in Buzău in 1914, works located today in the Dumbrava Cemetery in Buzău, on the alley named after the sculptor). The "Alexandru Marghiloman Street" ensemble, between Cuza Vodă and Tăbăcari Streets, is included in the List of Historical Monuments (BZ-II-a-B-02336).

L’ENSEMBLE RUE ALEXANDRU MARGHILOMAN La rue Alexandru Marghiloman a été et continue de rester l’une des artères importantes de la ville de Buzău, reliant son centre à la route Brăilei. Initialement, la rue s’appelait Oborului, puis Brăilei, plus tard Dobrogei (après 1881) et à partir de 1911 Alexandru Marghiloman, en l’honneur du grand homme politique de Buzău. Après 1948, c’était la rue Constantin Dobrogeanu-Gherea, reprenant le nom d’Alexandru Marghiloman après 1990. Sur toute sa longueur, initialement depuis l’Aleea Episcopiei, aujourd’hui depuis la rue Cuza Vodă (Place du Théâtre) jusqu’à Bariera Brăilei, nous trouvons de nombreux objets d’intérêt historique et architectural pour la ville de Buzău, certains d’entre eux étant inscrits sur la liste des monuments historiques : l’ancienne Halle des viandes et des poissons (Bazarul Obor), inaugurée le 12 novembre 1898, l’auberge Ioniță Ploieșteanu, où le grand acteur et dramaturge George Ciprian est né en 1883, l’auberge Vasile Cățoiu, l’ancienne École Primaire de la Communauté Israélienne, inaugurée le 24 août 1903, la Synagogue de la Communauté Israélite, l’ensemble architectural Alexandru Marghiloman, la Maison Seceleanu (la fille de Nicolas Seceleanu a commandé à Constantin Brâncuşi les œuvres « Prière » et « Buste de l’avocat Petre Stănescu », réalisées par lui et exposées à Buzău en 1914, étant aujourd’hui situées au cimetière Dumbrava de Buzău, dans l’allée portant le nom du sculpteur). L’ensemble « Strada Alexandru Marghiloman », entre les rues Cuza Vodă et Tăbăcari, est inscrit sur la Liste des Monuments Historiques (BZ-II-a-B-02336).
